From October 2020 to August 2021, I led the project team at Iroko Interiors for the multi-million Naira hospitality project, The Del, from the design phase well into the construction phase, before departing to pursue my Masters in Interior Design. Renders by project 3D visualiser.
The boutique hotel design pays homage to the lagoon, gulf and other bodies of water that border Victoria Island, reflecting fluidity and lambency in its aesthetic. Renders by project 3D visualiser
As project lead, I oversaw a team of 4 interior designers and 2 design interns. I managed the design team’s delivery of working drawings for the approx. 2,500sqm boutique hotel project, and myself produced working drawings in Revit and FF&E specifications, while maintaining a dedicated site presence and liaising with the wider project team. I especially enjoyed collaborating with the diverse group of consultants, contractors and construction personnel to solve interdisciplinary design challenges.
I look forward to sharing my design development work when the project is completed.
